Our Name Sake, Baxter
Baxter [bak-ster] - noun
1. Micro-dog, maybe part squirrel, or maybe fox. Rescued from Underdog CA in 2017.
Landry [L(a)-nd-ry] - noun
origin: French
Meaning: Ruler/King
It took him 3 years to decompress from his former life. He went from being an enigma in the house, feral, deaf and no idea of what it meant to be a dog. He was totally disinterested in interaction with any of the humans in the house, except for Anne, and showed no interest in the other dogs, but they quickly learned, he was the boss. He's now besties with Kona, our staffy, a fellow Underdog alumni and rules our pack!
He's watched over and kept vigil over his person during the worst of times, and during the best of times he's usually riding in Anne's shirt like an OG, or insisting on a car ride for a pup cup.
